David Curkovic
Associate

Dave Curkovic is a trial and appellate lawyer practicing in the area of civil litigation, with an emphasis on litigation and counseling services for the insurance industry. He has handled matters in various lines, including D&O/management liability, professional liability and general liability. He provides counsel for clients at a nationwide level with respect to issues of coverage, claims handling, litigation management and corporate risk. He has extensive experience in a wide range of insurance-related litigation, including coverage, bad faith, subrogation and contribution, and has defended insurers in multiple jurisdictions including Illinois, California, Florida and Texas. He has also represented banks, financial advisors and other entities in litigation, arbitration and mediation.

A graduate of the University of Michigan (B.A. in History, 1998) and the University of Michigan Law School (J.D., 2001), Mr. Curkovic provides the highly regarded insurance law and professional/management liability team at Schuyler, Roche & Crisham with an in-depth appreciation for the burgeoning field of Internet liability. His co-authored article, entitled, "Content-Based Tax Exemptions and the First Amendment," earned him the prestigious Burton Award for Legal Achievement in Writing in 2010.
