Schuyler Roche, P.C. and Crisham & Kubes, Ltd. Set To Join Forces
March 2, 2009 - The law firms of Schuyler Roche, P.C. and Crisham & Kubes, Ltd. this week announced a merging of the firms' practices. As of April 1, 2009, the combined firm will be named Schuyler, Roche & Crisham, P.C. James L. Komie, president of Schuyler Roche, will continue to serve as president of Schuyler, Roche & Crisham, P.C. Tom Crisham and Jeff Kubes will be members of the Board of Directors.
Crisham & Kubes is a Chicago-based group of trial and appellate lawyers practicing complex commercial and insurance litigation. The Crisham group represents both public and private clients in federal and state court, as well as in arbitrations and mediations. Presently, Crisham & Kubes is comprised of ten attorneys, all of whom will be practicing at Schuyler, Roche & Crisham.
Schuyler Roche, one of the oldest law firms in Chicago with roots dating back to 1863, is a full-service law firm of 40 attorneys. Michael B. Roche, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Schuyler Roche, believes, "The combination with the Crisham group enhances the ability of both firms to provide high quality legal services to a diverse client base." Roche added, "On a personal note, I have known Tom Crisham as a friend and professional for 30 years and greatly look forward to practicing law with him and his colleagues."

The firm will operate from Schuyler Roche's current offices in the Prudential Building (across from Millennium Park) where it is one of the building's original tenants.
